Summary
This study is adapting a counseling therapy called 'Meaning-Centered Psychotherapy' to better meet the cultural and language needs of Chinese immigrant cancer patients. The goal is to help patients cope with the emotional burden of advanced cancer by finding a sense of purpose and meaning in their lives. The research involves interviews to adapt the therapy and then testing it with patients via telehealth sessions in Mandarin or English.
