NCT ID NCT05686954

First seen May 09, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study looked at whether smaller amounts of cottonseed oil can improve cholesterol and other health markers in adults at risk for heart disease. 95 overweight or at-risk adults drank shakes with different doses of cottonseed oil daily for 28 days. Researchers measured changes in cholesterol, blood sugar, and other factors to see if lower doses still provide benefits.
