New device offers hope for untreatable chest pain

NCT ID NCT07485985

Summary

This study is testing a small mesh device called a coronary sinus reducer that's implanted in the heart to help reduce chest pain in people with advanced coronary artery disease. Researchers will measure how the device affects blood flow and pressure in the heart over 6 months in 25 patients who have limited treatment options. The goal is to understand how this device might help control chest pain when other treatments aren't suitable.
