New heart pump offers lifeline for patients with End-Stage heart failure

Summary
This study is testing a mechanical heart pump called the Corheart 6 in patients with severe, treatment-resistant heart failure. The goal is to see if the device is safe and effective at helping patients survive, avoid major strokes, and improve their quality of life for at least six months after it's implanted. It will involve about 53 adults in Europe whose hearts are too weak to pump properly despite the best available medications.
