First seen Jun 29, 2026 · Last updated Jun 30, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study looks at whether adding core-focused exercises and kinesiology taping to standard lymphedema therapy can help with posture, pain, movement, and quality of life. The trial includes women aged 40 to 65 who have had breast cancer surgery and have mild to moderate lymphedema with back or neck pain. Participants will receive either the extra treatments or a placebo version, and researchers will measure changes in pain, spinal alignment, and daily function.

What this could lead to
If it works, this could offer a simple, non-drug way to reduce pain and improve posture and daily function for women with breast cancer-related lymphedema.
