Brain swelling after stroke: a new clue to recovery?

Summary

This study looks at brain swelling that happens after a bleeding stroke (intracerebral hemorrhage). The goal is to learn how this swelling affects recovery over 12 months. Researchers will follow 500 adults in France who had a spontaneous bleeding stroke. No new treatments are being tested; this is an observation-only study to gather information.
