Summary

This study tested whether providing teens with educational and coping skills videos on a smartphone could help them manage pain better after major scoliosis surgery. It involved 40 adolescents aged 11-18 who were having spinal surgery. Researchers wanted to see if this support could reduce pain, improve mood and mobility, and speed up recovery in the first six weeks after the operation.
