Skin and mind: new study explores how patients cope with skin disease
NCT ID NCT07640373
First seen Jun 10, 2026 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study looks at how people with skin conditions (like eczema, psoriasis, or skin cancer) cope with stress, feel lonely, and bounce back from challenges. Researchers will compare 250 patients with skin disease to 125 people without skin disease using questionnaires. The goal is to understand the mental and emotional side of living with a skin condition, not to test a new treatment.
