Scientists track lung health in High-Risk smokers

Summary

This study aims to better understand Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) in people who are already getting screened for lung cancer. Researchers will collect health information from 420 current or former heavy smokers over about 15 months. The goal is to learn how COPD and lung cancer screening are connected to help improve future care for people with both risks.
