Can a common inhaler ingredient help COPD Patients' lung blood vessels?

NCT ID NCT05607719

Summary

This study aims to see if adding an inhaled corticosteroid (ICS) to a standard two-drug inhaler for 4 weeks improves how well the blood vessels in the lungs work for people with stable COPD. Researchers will measure changes in lung blood vessel resistance and breathing tests in 30 participants. The goal is to better understand how this common add-on treatment might help control the disease beyond just opening airways.
