Hidden heart risks in COPD patients: new screening study aims to find and manage them

Summary
This study aims to find out how many people hospitalized for a COPD flare-up also have hidden heart or kidney problems. Researchers will screen 150 patients in Hong Kong for these conditions at discharge and provide a care package with follow-up. The goal is to understand the risks better and see if this approach helps reduce future hospital visits.
