Can a simple supplement cocktail ease the exhaustion of COPD?
NCT ID NCT06439875
Summary
This study is testing whether adding two dietary supplements, L-arginine and vitamin C, to a standard 28-day lung rehabilitation program can help reduce severe fatigue in people with COPD and chronic breathing failure. About 102 participants will be randomly assigned to receive either the supplement combination or a placebo pill twice a day during their rehab. Researchers will measure changes in fatigue levels, walking ability, and other health indicators to see if the supplements make a difference.
