Can short bursts of exercise help COPD patients breathe easier?
NCT ID NCT05825638
Summary
This study aimed to understand if a specific type of exercise training is better for people with COPD who experience dangerous drops in blood oxygen during activity. Researchers compared two exercise methods—continuous training versus interval training (short bursts with rest)—in 12 patients. They measured oxygen levels, breathing, and muscle effort to see which approach was safer and more comfortable.
