Breathing breakthrough? study tests exercise method to keep oxygen up in COPD patients

NCT ID NCT05825638

Summary

This study looked at whether a different way of exercising could help people with COPD who experience dangerous drops in oxygen during workouts. Researchers compared traditional continuous exercise with interval training (short bursts of activity with rest breaks) in 12 patients. They measured oxygen levels, breathing, and muscle strain to see which method kept oxygen levels more stable and was easier on patients.
