Summary

This study is testing whether a 12-week coping skills training program can help reduce depression and anxiety in people with COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease). It will compare the training program to a simpler COPD education program. The study is enrolling 750 patient-caregiver pairs, with a focus on including people from diverse backgrounds who often face barriers to mental health care.
