Gentle oxygen vs. breathing mask: which helps COPD patients breathe easier after the ventilator?
NCT ID NCT07381686
Summary
This study compares two ways to help people with COPD breathe after they are taken off a ventilator. It tests whether a comfortable high-flow nasal oxygen tube works as well as the standard breathing mask to prevent patients from needing the ventilator tube put back in. The goal is to find the most effective and comfortable support method for this vulnerable group.
