Tiny trial tests if new inhaler smooths chaotic COPD breathing

NCT ID NCT04087590

Summary

This small, early-stage study aimed to see if a new long-acting inhaler (PT003) could improve the irregular and complex breathing patterns in people with stable, moderate-to-severe COPD. Only four participants were enrolled to measure changes in breathing mechanics and lung function immediately and after one month of use. The study was terminated early, so its findings are limited.
