Breath test study seeks clues in COPD's ups and downs
NCT ID NCT07045948
Summary
This study aims to better understand how COPD changes over time. Researchers will follow 100 adults with COPD for one year, checking their breath and a small blood sample every six months. The goal is to see if certain markers in the breath or blood are different in people whose symptoms suddenly get worse compared to those who stay stable. Participation does not change a person's regular treatment plan.
