NCT ID NCT06038513

First seen Jan 27, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 17 times

Summary

This study tested a device called COOLSTAT that is placed in the nose to cool down fever in intensive care patients who had a stroke, seizure, or brain injury. The goal was to see if it could safely and quickly bring body temperature to normal. The study was stopped early and only included 9 people, so we do not have enough information to know if it works.
