Chilling question: does cooling save more lives after hospital cardiac arrest?

Summary
This study aims to find out if cooling patients to 33°C (91.4°F) after their heart stops in the hospital leads to better survival with good brain function, compared to carefully keeping a normal body temperature. It will involve 788 adult patients who are in a coma after their heart is restarted. The main goal is to see which temperature management approach gives patients a better chance of a good recovery six months later.
