Could a wet T-Shirt save lives in a heat wave?
NCT ID NCT06961929
Summary
This study is testing if simple cooling methods, like wearing a wet T-shirt or having wet skin, can help people with heart failure stay cooler and reduce stress on their hearts during hot weather. Researchers will compare these methods to no cooling in a simulated heat wave. The goal is to find practical ways to protect this vulnerable group from heat-related health risks.
