Cool pillow tested to fight poor sleep and boost metabolism

NCT ID NCT05849181

Summary

This small, completed pilot study tested whether a cooling pillow pad called Moona could improve sleep quality and related metabolism in people. It involved 18 African American adults with overweight or obesity who reported poor sleep. Researchers measured changes in sleep patterns and blood sugar control after using the device for 22 nights to see if this non-drug approach could help.
