Wearable hospital monitors aim to catch patient decline before It's too late
NCT ID NCT06232876
Summary
This study compares two ways of monitoring patients after major surgery. One group gets standard vital sign checks every few hours. The other wears a wireless sensor that continuously tracks heart rate and breathing, alerting nurses to potential problems. Researchers want to see if catching issues earlier leads to faster treatment and prevents serious complications like heart problems or unplanned returns to intensive care.
