New online toolkit aims to help rural seniors cope with cancer anxiety

Summary

This study tests a web-based toolkit called CONNECT designed to help rural older adults who have survived cancer manage emotional distress and anxiety. The toolkit provides interactive activities, educational materials, and personalized mental health resource recommendations. Researchers will enroll 578 participants to see if using CONNECT improves cancer-related distress and anxiety over 12 months.
