Soccer huddles aim to boost concussion reporting in kids

NCT ID NCT06864611

First seen Mar 21, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 4 times

Summary

This study tests whether a short pre-game safety huddle can encourage young soccer players (ages 9-13) to report concussion symptoms. Researchers will compare teams that use the huddle to those that don't, measuring how often athletes say they would report symptoms and how many concussions coaches identify. The goal is to find a simple way to make youth soccer safer.
