Can tight tights tame POTS? new study tests everyday compression wear
NCT ID NCT04881318
First seen May 12, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study looks at whether wearing compression garments (like tight leggings or abdominal shapewear) during normal daily activities can help control heart rate and ease symptoms in people with POTS. Researchers will measure heart rate changes and symptom relief in 30 Canadian adults who already own such garments. The goal is to see if these commonly used items actually work outside the lab.
