First seen Apr 05, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 7 times
Summary
This early-phase trial tested whether adding the drug avelumab (compound 451238) to radiation therapy is safe for people with advanced soft-tissue sarcoma that has spread. Twelve adults with at least two tumors not curable by standard treatments took part. The main goal was to check for side effects, and researchers also looked at whether the combo could control tumor growth for a few months.
