Summary
This study aimed to better understand complex post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) by identifying how its symptoms differ from standard PTSD. Researchers enrolled 300 adults, including both patients and volunteers, to complete detailed questionnaires about their trauma, emotions, and mental health. The goal was to gather crucial information to help define complex PTSD more clearly and guide the development of better, more targeted treatments in the future.
