New PET tracer could improve prostate cancer detection

Summary

This study compares a new imaging agent, 68Ga-P16-093, to the standard 68Ga-PSMA-11 for detecting prostate cancer using PET scans. Fifty men with untreated prostate cancer will receive both scans within a week to see which agent finds more tumors. The goal is to improve diagnosis and staging of prostate cancer.
