First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study compares two ultrasound-guided pain blocks (supra-inguinal and infra-inguinal fascia iliaca blocks) to see which one makes it easier for patients to get into position for spinal anesthesia and provides longer pain relief after thigh or knee surgery. Sixty adults aged 30-60 will be randomly assigned to receive one of the two blocks before surgery. The goal is to improve patient comfort and satisfaction.
