Summary
This study compared two types of knee replacement implants for people with severe arthritis. It tested whether a newer implant design (Vanguard) performed better than an older one (AGC) in terms of knee function and pain relief. The study involved 150 adults who needed a total knee replacement due to osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, or traumatic arthritis.
