Summary
This study compares two types of drug-coated stents (small mesh tubes placed in heart arteries) in 2,100 people who have had a heart attack or unstable chest pain. The goal is to see which stent causes fewer heart-related problems like death, another heart attack, or the need for another procedure over one year. Both stents release medicine to keep arteries open, but they use different drugs.
