First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 28 times

Summary

This study compares two methods of controlling a prosthetic arm for adults with below-elbow limb loss. One method uses signals from two muscles, while the other uses signals from several muscles to better understand the user's intended movement. The goal is to see which method is easier to use and more helpful in everyday activities. Participants will try each control method for three months.
