First seen Jan 07, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 14 times

Summary

This study is a small test to see if a larger trial comparing two pain management plans after major orthopedic surgery is possible. One plan uses only non-opioid pain relievers, while the other includes opioids as usual. The study will enroll 100 adults to check if patients can be enrolled and follow the assigned plan, and will also look at pain levels and opioid use.
