Root canal showdown: which sealer causes less pain?

NCT ID NCT07253025

First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 02, 2026 · Updated 18 times

Summary

This study compares two types of root canal sealers—resin-based and bio ceramic—to see which causes less pain after the procedure. About 180 adults with tooth infections will be randomly assigned to one of the two sealers. Pain levels are measured 24 and 48 hours later using a simple 0-10 scale. The goal is to find a sealer that reduces post-treatment discomfort.
