First seen Apr 14, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 5 times
Summary
This study tested if giving two medications (mifepristone and misoprostol) at the same time works better than misoprostol alone for inducing labor in a nonviable second-trimester pregnancy. The goal was to shorten the time to delivery and reduce the risk of maternal complications. Thirty women participated, and the researchers measured how many delivered within 12 and 24 hours.
