NCT ID NCT05222815
First seen Jun 27, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study compares two methods of tracking blood sugar in people with type 2 diabetes: traditional fingerstick testing and continuous glucose monitors (CGMs). About 360 adults aged 18 to 75 who use insulin will be followed for 12 months to see which method better lowers A1C levels and reduces diabetes-related distress. The goal is to find out which monitoring approach works best in everyday primary care settings.
