Home shot for heart failure? study tests new delivery method

NCT ID NCT06167707

Summary

This study tested a new way to give a common fluid-reducing drug (furosemide) as a shot under the skin, comparing it to the standard method of giving it into a vein. The goal was to see how the body processes the drug and how well it works when given differently. It involved 21 healthy volunteers who received both methods to directly compare them.
