First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study tested two different tooth-colored filling materials for small cavities in back teeth. 42 people received either a new type of flowable giomer filling or a standard nanofilled composite, sometimes with a special coating. Researchers checked the fillings over 18 months to see which ones lasted better and caused fewer problems.
