New heart scan tech put to the test: is sharper always better?

NCT ID NCT06170541

Summary

This study aims to find out if a newer, ultra-high-resolution CT scan is better at detecting serious blockages in heart arteries compared to the standard CT scan. Researchers will enroll 140 adults with suspected heart disease and compare the two scan types using the same machine. The goal is to see if the newer technology provides clearer, more confident results for doctors without needing extra procedures for patients.
