First seen Nov 17, 2025 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study compared two blood thinners, rivaroxaban and apixaban, to see which causes less bleeding in people with blood clots. About 2,760 adults with new clots in their legs or lungs took part. The goal was to find out which drug is safer, since both are already approved but had not been directly compared before.
