New dressing could cut dressing changes for bedsores

Summary
This study compares a new powder dressing (Altrazeal) to standard care for treating stage 2, 3, and 4 pressure ulcers (bedsores). About 300 adults aged 18-85 with mild to moderate wound drainage will be randomly assigned to either the new dressing or usual treatments. The main goal is to see if the new dressing reduces the number of dressing changes needed over 12 weeks, while also tracking wound healing and complications.
