Home delivery boosts TB prevention success

NCT ID NCT06214910

Summary

This study tested whether delivering tuberculosis (TB) prevention medicine directly to people's communities helps more people finish their full course of treatment compared to the standard method of requiring monthly clinic visits. It involved 301 adults in South Africa who were at risk for TB, including people living with HIV. Researchers compared giving all medicine at once in the community to the usual clinic-based approach to see which led to better treatment completion.
