First seen Nov 18, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study tested whether female community health volunteers could help adults in semi-urban Nepal become more physically active. 264 adults aged 18 to 69 took part. The volunteers gave families simple, home-based education sessions about exercise. The goal was to see if this approach increases daily moderate-to-vigorous activity and provides evidence for policymakers.
