First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study looks at whether trained community health workers can reduce the stress and workload of people caring for older veterans with serious illnesses like dementia or cancer. About 480 rural caregivers will either get extra support connecting to resources or continue usual care. The goal is to ease caregiver burden and improve well-being for both caregivers and veterans.
