NCT ID NCT06209411
First seen May 11, 2026 · Last updated May 11, 2026
Summary
This study looks at whether community health workers can help more women get tested for type 2 diabetes after having a baby. Women who had diabetes during pregnancy are at high risk, but many miss the recommended test. The trial will involve 330 women in urban slums of Pune, India, and compare home-based testing by health workers to usual care. A smaller part of the study will also test a protein-fiber supplement for blood sugar control.
