Can community activities make kids healthier? mississauga study aims to find out
NCT ID NCT07191925
Summary
This study is testing whether community-designed activities focused on better eating and more exercise can improve the health and well-being of children aged 6-13 in Mississauga. It involves about 4,900 kids from 22 local schools, with half the schools trying the new programs and half continuing as usual for comparison. Researchers will track the children's quality of life, physical activity, and eating habits over two years to see if the community approach works.
