Summary
This study is testing an online training program designed to help doctors, nurses, and other healthcare providers have better conversations with patients who have serious illnesses. The program teaches communication skills through online modules and virtual workshops. Researchers want to see if this training makes providers more confident and competent in discussing care goals and palliative care options earlier in a patient's illness.
