Summary

This study tested whether a new communication guide was helpful and easy to use for patients facing ostomy surgery. It involved 25 people (patients and nurses) to see if better conversations before surgery could reduce patient anxiety and improve quality of life. The main goal was to see if patients and clinicians found the guide acceptable.
