First seen Mar 04, 2026 · Last updated May 09, 2026 · Updated 11 times

Summary

This study tests a small implanted device that sends mild electrical pulses to nerves to relieve chronic pain from nerve injury or surgery. About 185 adults with long-lasting pain in the back, shoulder, knee, or foot will either get the implant plus usual care or usual care alone. The goal is to see if the implant provides better pain relief and safety.
